- if you want to marry a Chinese woman or man, it would be nice to know their language
- if you enjoy learning new languages and think of it as a challenge as Chinese is one of the hardest languages to learn, along with Japanese and Korean too
- if you are white, and you can speak Spanish...nobody would think you are special, but if you are white and you speak Chinese, you will instantly be a hit with many people because they will think you are super smart
References :
Taiwan

No good reason.
Look in the real world
Decode this lyrics "You'll see "
"Wonderful world"
Not a universal language.
Widely spoken among own community.
Tribe of different community has their own kitchen's dialect with ghostly and deadly words from the graveyards of own ancestor's.
At first thought it was the wrong choice missing it out.
With time knew it was right to stay away from it in time.
Since it never even advance nor move an inch but moving backward to the twilight zone in time.
Only science and mathematics advance in time.
Luke 21.30-36
Luke 9.25,55-56,60
Luke 24.44-45,47-48
Genesis 11.1,3-9
Revelation 22.13-17
Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49
What do you think?
References :
decoded from the missing x-files.

the difference between english and japanese are writing system.
english alphabet is phonogram.
which means speaking language and spelling are almost same.
japanese characters are ideogram. we have letters as well. but most important element in the sentence are all in characters. (noun, verb, adj)
we ask 'how to write in characters?' a lot in daily conv.

so what im saying is
you can learn just spoken japanese if you dont want to learn how to write. but you do need writing skill if you want to count japanese language as your career in the future.
characters are really important in japanese language even when we're just talking.
References :
majored in japanese literature

No, I am a native speaker of French and Italian but I must say that no language compares in the beauty of Japanese. Also, Japan is a great buisness country and is a very diverse and unique language. Yes, Japanese may only be spoken in one country, but face it so is Italian, and French, unless you have a burning desire to go to Quebec, French Guiana, or parts of Africa, it's only spoken in one country also, AND, both of these countries only have half of the size population as Japan. Plus, just do it to do it. It is great to know an asian language, for most non-asian people do not learn it.
You should try learning them at the same time as one another. Thats how i learned English and Spanish.
References :
Currently studying Japanese.
Im good at it and enjoy the sound and writing.

Quite simply put, Chinese is the new Spanish. Like Spanish has become a second language in the United States, the next up and coming language is rapidly becoming Chinese and very wealthy folks like to keep abreast of these things.
